Use the official Telangana RERA website and project-search system, including rera.telangana.gov.in and the Telangana RERA project search. Search by project name, promoter name, or registration details when available.
Do not rely only on a registration number printed on a brochure. Match the number, project name, promoter, location, and project status on the official record.
What to review
- Project registration number and current status.
- Promoter name and whether it matches the seller's representation.
- Project location, survey numbers, and planning approval references where shown.
- Completion timeline and whether updates are being filed.
- Approved layout or building details uploaded to the record.
What RERA does not replace
RERA registration does not remove the need for title review, HMDA or other planning approval checks, EC review, payment-term review, site visit, and registration-document checks. Use RERA as one layer of verification.
